Creative Execution

In India, most smartphone users have an Android phone, rather than an iPhone. Hence, the app was launched first on the PlayStore, followed by AppStore.

There were a few issues with the app on its first launch, which have now been addressed. So we hope to see a lot more downloads in the near future. Also, some bugs that had cropped up in the iOS version are in the process of being removed, and we're looking at a relaunch shortly.

Reebok had recently launched their 'Live With Fire' global campaign. As part of the exercise, the brand wanted to reach out to people who were passionate about being on the move. Runners were the obvious choice. Being a runner is all about being on the move constantly. This is a community, which for us, truly embodied living with an inner fire. And if runners have one weakness, it's fatigue. If they have one nemesis, it's that often unreachable last mile. Naturally, the best way Reebok could reach out to runners was if somehow, it could help them keep going long enough to reach that last mile. A lot of research threw up the link between binaural beats and adrenalin boosts, and after that it was simply a matter of incorporating these beats in the one thing that powers ever runner's run: music.
