The Campaign

Every year, Singapore Red Cross faces the daunting challenge of raising the country's blood supply to meet the ever-growing demand for the different types of blood. And because of Singapore's rapidly graying population, the Red Cross desperately has to find the next generation of blood donors. 1 donation can save 3 lives but without that 1 person, nothing happens. This animated film follows the education of a typical teen as he learns about the very real dangers of blood shortages and exactly what he can do to help prevent them. The solution is a new mobile app called the 'Red Cross Connection' - it allows the Red Cross to send out virtual blood drives for individual blood types and he then has the option of donating (if he's the correct blood type) or passing the message forward through his own social networks. If he donates, the app posts to his facebook wall that he just saved 3 lives - showing the world what he has done and encouraging others in his network to donate and become lifesavers as well.
