This online film showcases where superior acceleration can take you. This fun packed viral spot is to serve as a call to arms for bikers to share their motoring experiences on Castrol's Facebook communities around the world.
Wet used the authentic approach of capturing the unique "motorbike speak" by interviewing bikers about what they feel when they pull the throttle and accelerate. The coolest descriptions were turned into a loose script. The animation and live action was shot guerilla style in New Zealand the ideal canvas for the perfect bike ride. With this open brief, editing, design, scene layout and animation were constantly evolving - especially when the brief demanded the visual to be beautiful and bizarre.
