Westpac is Australia's oldest and most conservative bank. In an attempt to update its image, Westpac is introducing a range of technology-led product innovations. Emergency Cash is one of these - lose your wallet and Westpac can text a pin to your phone so you can withdraw cash without a card. In this TVC we see a montage of increasingly distraught Australians - in taxis, restaurants, train stations. We're not sure why they're 'losing it' - losing their cool - but gradually the reason is revealed - they've lost their wallets. However, one guy doesn't 'lose it'. Why? Because he's a Westpac customer, and he calmly uses the new service to withdraw some much needed money. Westpac Emergency Cash. Here's to not losing it.
