Create a dynamic but simple approach to presenting the work and themes of the exhibition.
To create a unique media kit that would reflect the mood and intent of The 2014 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art and it’s theme ‘Dark Heart’.
The final design used a simple approach to layout with the emphasis being on showcasing a selection of the pieces to be exhibited. The oversized nature of the final print allowed the detail of the pieces to be displayed boldly. The media kit was printed on an uncoated stock giving a tactile and ‘hands-on’ feel, reinforcing the nature of the work shown.
The Art Gallery attracted a record number of 111,000 visitors to Dark Heart since the exhibition opened on 1 March 2014, up 10% on the 2012 Biennial.
