Brief Explanation

While it is easy to design a logo for any musical event, the brief asked us to bring two aspects of the event together – music and the fact the event was being held against the backdrop of a birds sanctuary.

The Brief

Brief was to design a logo for an annual music event that is organized near Bharatpur Birds Sanctuary - one of India's biggest bird sanctuaries. The featuring musicians/bands play acoustic music against the backdrop of this birds sanctuary.

How the final design was conceived

After toying with lot of ideas where we had a forest/birds in the backdrop and a musician/musical instrument in the foreground, finally at a point the two elements of the event just fused into one, beautifully! The final logo is shape of a gramophone that represents all things musical, beautifully merged, with the shape of a peacock – India's national bird.

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

The musical event was a huge success and the logo generated a lot of conversation. But above that, we believe the success of the logo is in the fact that it will stay in people's mind forever due to its uniqueness and aptness for the annual event. We believe this logo will become an iconic image that will pop up in people's heads every time the name 'Flock' is brought in to a conversation.
