MVO: A 52-year old woman once set off with two friends to hike in the Pyrenees, a mountain range straddling France and Spain. The warm Mediterranean climate made the hike even more enjoyable, and like most hikers, they soaked in the spectacular scenery of abundant flora and fauna.
Unfortunately, the woman lost her concentration, and her footing. She slipped and fell off a very high cliff. A swarm of griffon vultures swooped down and started consuming her body. Had you been her, you would have been reduced to nothing but bones, clothes and shoes – in a span of 45 minutes. Tragic.
On a happier note, 45 minutes is also all it takes for you to enjoy any of the 9 once-act plays never before staged, in Virgin Labfest 2013. June 26 to July 7 at the Cultural Center.
45 minutes of vulture attack or 45 minutes of great theater? Your choice.
