Creative Execution

Introducing Casablanca “sleep mode”. Through social media, we invited people to try our products online. They would then take a portrait picture which, through face-mapping technology, was used to personalize their computer’s sleep mode. When their computer entered sleep mode, they would see themselves sleeping perfectly on Casablanca products. The interactive sleep mode was web-enabled, filling their dreams with content from their Facebook feed, and pushing promotions in real-time. Promotion offers also show up on their Facebook wall.

Insights, Strategy and the Idea

As a brand focused on quality bedding products, Casablanca’s mission is to provide quality sleep, wherever and whenever it happens. We needed to make the brand stand out and relevant to customers in the digital space, but with a limited budget that ruled out traditional media buys. We created a direct channel that was both free and completely relevant to the brand. We transformed your computer’s sleep mode, turning sleeping screens everywhere into Casablanca showrooms. Whenever your computer went to sleep, it would demonstrate Casablanca bedding products.
