Creative Execution

It is very limited budget for this great film. But we needed best creative crew from all over the world. Producer Nick Uemura has over 25 years film making experience, but either that, it was big challenge for him. Director Shiota wanted work with DP Martin Ahlgren who signed with William Morris Endeavor in Beverly Hills, Nick called them direct and negotiate to have him in 5min with discounted rate to fly to Tokyo for just 1 day shoot. Also Shiota wanted Jonsi's song for the film, Nick fly direct to London to talk to Jonsi direct to make deal as friend. Shooting set at Saitama Stadium for just 3 hours shoot but 10 hours prep time to make everything perfect in short shooting time. Keisuke Honda soccer player as cast also had practice in advance to make shoot perfect for the film shooting. 35 camera assistant and 30 electricians working together with 20 of stadium crew and 15 of client supporting crew. All these happen in 3 hours shooting to save a lots of cost but makes big budget look. Normally this type of shooting takes 8-10 hours time and lots of prep time but producer Nick Uemura, Director Yuji Shiota and DP Martin Ahlgren hassled to finish shoot and kept great quality of film. In post production, also Nick and Shiota used airline millage to fly to New York to work with Martin Ahlgren for color grade session at Comapny 3 in 1 hours grading session. It is also prep in advance to make sure exact shot to choose to color grade in advance to save time and money.
