Set in an eerie, deserted city, this epic spot announces the new Samsung Smart TV: a television that can be controlled using voice and hand gestures. A lone man wanders the streets before being confronted by a host of characters from the world of television and movies. From rampaging dinosaurs, to stampeding wildebeest and an alien invasion our hero controls each one using his voice and hands.
Our composer specially adapted his brooding, atmospheric track “Adagio in D Minor” for this epic spot to announce the new Samsung Smart TV. Set in an eerie, deserted city, the music transcribes the journey of our hero as he is confronted by a host of TV and movie characters, including invading aliens and a rampaging T-Rex. The piece takes us from the suspense and intrigue of the earlier scenes, before building to an epic conclusion as the action reaches its climax. The track originally featured in on a movie soundtrack. Working from a re-mastered version, the composer specially adapted the track around our edit.
