This animation tells the story of Big Hands Land, where everyone makes apples, a not-so-indirect reference to China's identity as the world's manufacturer. While everyone gets their hands pumped to be ever more efficient, one young man has his brain pumped instead. His smart ideas go ignored until he finds a wall to express his ideas.
Its a 2D computer animation. The initial drawings were done by ink on paper, and then they were scanned into digital format. Retouched by Photoshop, animated and were adding special effects in Adobe After Effects, and then edited by Adobe Premiere. The soundtrack for Big Hands short film is an original score composed by Xingyu Li.
