“Extreme Pursuit” was probably the most comprehensively produced micro movie in China to date. A full feature film team with stunt crews, second camera teams and full HD Red equipment was used. The sound was an integral part of the micro movie and it was developed in step with the whole movie from day one. Composers and sound engineers got involved in the script stage already. Sound recording and remixing was done by some of the best sound and music people in the world; from German Sound engineers to Hollywood music producer Del Spiva (Spiderman, Black Hawk Down etc.) and bleeding edge UK remixer Zed Bias to create a sound environment far beyond any Chinese micro movies to date. The sound production also gave birth to a beautiful “making of” documentary, lovingly chronicling the passion for sound in a movie.
