A unique video manual for d-Video, a Japanese Video On Demand service for smartphones. Since its launch d-Video has attracted over 5 million users. However, not all of the users are fully enjoying all the functions that this service offers. Our challenge was to create an entertaining video manual that would attract people's attention and could not be ignored. Two projectors were used to create a gigantic smartphone. While the performer in the video entertained and held everyone attention with his shuffling, they also learnt about the different functions of the app. We also developed a new technology which detected the movement of the performer and simultaneously changed the projected image on the floor, which was very difficult to achieve manually.
