We believe that the youth in China have their aspiration and desires that need to be expressed. This film captures, ignites, and legitimizes the dreams and ambitions of a generation. “Give me the ball,” the hero says. “Don’t give me fame, I’ll earn that.” He speaks as a representative for the collective aspirations of basketball players across China, with the attitude and swagger that basketball players recognize. The campaign’s “Wish list” film features top athletes such as Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant and Yi Jianglian, as well as the celebrity Chen Jianzhou and famous TV commentator Zhang Weiping, who gets the fans excited to see their hero play. From our point of view, the wish of the youth is the core. It is about their hope and dream. Great athlete is the inspiration and part of their dream. We would like to draw out the ambitions and hunger from the youth by bringing them closer to the ‘untouchable’ super stars.
