To support ASB Banks sponsorship of the NZ Olympic team, we created the country’s first Spotify-integrated Facebook app called the Moodulator. It aimed to capture the ups and downs of this iconic event through music. We posted regular updates from the NZ Olympic team in London. Users were then encouraged to tell us how the update made them feel – excited, proud, happy etc – using sliders. The app then suggested a suitable Spotify track to reflect their mood. Or users could select one themselves. At the conclusion of the event, we collated the definitive, streamable soundtrack to the Kiwi Olympic experience.
