The main challenge was to clearly explain YOD’s entirely new video delivery service and it’s functionality to a consumer who had never seen or heard of it before.

The Brief

Create a 30 second video broadcast introduction of the YOD product that will succinctly explain the key benefits and functionality of the soon-to-be launched YOD product.

How the final design was conceived

We commissioned Dan Stiles to storyboard and Seven Cs Production to animate this launch video. The style was based on Red Peak’s visual brand identity and uses an infographic technique to simplify a new and complex concept for China’s consumers to understand.

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

With 3 million homes subscribing at launch, and projections showing 8 million more will sign up by the end of the year, we’re confident that the video was effective in it’s mission.
