For the longest time, the client has been trying to increase traffic on its facebook page. But with the lack of fresh content and advertising-only posts, its facebook page hasn't really generated a significant amount of activity from its fans.
Mister Donut wanted to have a stronger connection with its target online.
Mister Donut came up with the Happy Hole-O-Scope of the Day - a feature that parodies real horoscope readings. The funny posts come with a cute donut-shaped mascot of each zodiac sign.
The feature is one of the page’s most liked and most shared posts. From being previously unranked, it helped make Mister Donut’s fan site the 10th most talked about Facebook page in Zoomsphere’s food category. Not bad for a low engagement product that makes fun of its reader’s fortunes.
