Brief Explanation

Scope's mantra is 'See the person, not the disability'. We chose local Melbourne band Rudely Interrupted, in which five of the six members live with physical and mental illness, to become our living, breathing demonstration. The musicians were our message, and we created a music video to encourage people to see the band's musical talent, not their disability. Moved by the music video, the public took it up on themselves to share it with others. To date the video has surpassed over 150,000 views. With 1000s of new viewers encountering the clip every week, it's something that will continue to grow and change perceptions forever.
