It’s hard to make sense of something as indiscriminate as cancer. That’s why we need young researchers full of fresh ideas and imaginative solutions if there’s ever going to be a cure. Cure Cancer Australia provides vital start up funding for innovative, young researchers. We needed to inspire people to support this altruistic cause – and demonstrate that the youth of today truly are vital in the ongoing quest for the cure. We developed a TV and print campaign that touched on the perceived vices of young people, demonstrating that when it comes to finding a cure for cancer these qualities are not only virtuous, but are exactly what the search for the cure needs. Powerful words delivered by iconic Australian actor Bruce Spence, and a hauntingly beautiful soundtrack by Decoder Ring, bring this film to life in a way that both resonates and inspires the audience to donate to a cause that is nothing short of heroic.
