People have been enjoying Ligo Sardines for more than 50 years so the concept is when we look back on our life, so many things change. But the simple pleasure of eating Ligo Sardines you experienced as a child remains. The ad is in black and white and set in the 1950s when Ligo Sardines first became available. A child sits on a park bench, when he’s joined by an older man who’s in full Technicolor. The child is sitting next to his self, fifty years into the future. They talk about all the things that will change. Except for Ligo Sardines, they’re as good then as they are now.
