Homer Campbell was a miner who, in 1920, after wearing his jeans every day for three years, decided to send them back. Like Levi's, he was a true original as he added extra padding and patchwork creating a one-of-a-kind design that impressed the jeans manufacturer greatly. Late last summer, Levi's decided to create a limited edition Homer Campbell pair of 501s, as loyal as possible to his original design. The Levi's storefront and website were uniquely linked so that the promotion to give away 3 pairs of the limited edition jeans took place on premise and online simultaneously.
