Most people look for lighting ideas in light shops not bookshops.
To highlight the little known genre of lighting design books in the bookshop.
Lighting is very much a design craft and it was noticed that certain interior lights are so beautifully photographed and designed, they seem to glow within the book. This series of posters takes that observation and artfully expresses how these beautiful lights practically 'emerge' from the very pages of books.
The posters became designer collectibles in their own right. Interior designers and light shops requested for copies of the posters framing these posters in their offices and homes. They also asked Kinokuniya staff for the specific books that feature these very same lights so that they could refer to them for their work.
