What meaning does Panasonic Electric Works' message transmitted from Milano Salone has? The book design tells people inside and outside the country of the meaning.
During the April 2010 Milano Salone, Panasonic Electric Works Co., Ltd. (PEW) design department unveiled a strikingly innovative installation in the Brera District of the city to convey our value:“Synergy between Comfort and Eco-Friendliness.”
The book design is prepared in the aim of letting people feel the vitality of the town during the Salone period rather than simply designing the state of the exhibition. All the pages are deliberately in monochrome in order to express the sharp form of each product. The cover page shows a number of cartons of products that have just arrived, the visual graphics of which express a sense of tension and a feeling of hope. We expect that people can feel the atmosphere of the city of Milan and enjoy seeing Panasonic Electric Works' exhibition winning the high evaluation of visitors including journalists on each page that they turn.
We distributed the book design at exhibitions held in Tokyo and Osaka, when the smart way of living suggested by Panasonic Electric Works was accepted by a large number of visitors, who highly evaluated the suggestion where Panasonic Electric Works' design is harmonized with its technology of comfortable ecology as exhibited at Milano Salone.
