The live action/CGI 3D commercial, a first for SK Telecom, is playing in 3D theaters across Korea in front of the release of “Transformers, the Dark of the Moon.” The commercial announces SK Telecom’s new, lightning fast 4G LTE phone service. A woman discovers the new service as her phone emits objects representing the super fast services that 4G LTE provides – from downloading film and music entertainment, to video games, and beyond. The objects fill the screen to create a 3D world that takes the audience to a reality that we’ve never been before. we wanted to create a 3D commercial for the cinema that would push the envelope of the 3D world, have music and sound design that would complement the visuals in a theatre space, while at the same time entertaining and informing the audience of SK Telecom’s new and exciting service. 3D, a cutting edge technology and SK’s 4G LTE go hand in hand.
