Segunda Mana is a play on the words "segunda mano" which means second hand and "mana" which literally means to inherit. Established a few years ago, it constitutes the fund raising arm of Caritas Manila which deals specifically with donations in kind. These are resold to the public and the proceeds benefit the different programs for the poor. This year, Caritas Manila focused their efforts on kids, hoping to instill the virtue of charity at an early age.
