Aman ki Asha (The Hope for Peace) is a huge multimedia collaboration between the two largest media houses in India and Pakistan (The Times of India & Jang Group) to spread the message of peace and understanding between the two nations. This was the film that launched the initiative. The story is based on the fact that Bollywood films are hugely popular across both borders and unite common folk in a strong cultural bond. The film shows an old Pakistani man trying to play a game of dumb charade with a group of Indians miles away across the border. the reward for guessing the movie right is a song request on all India Radio from the same movie which both sides catch over the radio amid much celebration.
