BBDO India is just 18 months old in India. So we needed to inform prospective clients about us using an innovative approach that would prove to be clutter breaking and grab the attention of our clients.
In a market full of hundreds of well established advertising agencies we needed to create something that caught the clients attention and forced them to consider us.
We decided to create a video which emphasizes on the fact that BBDO India is relatively unknown in India and needs business both from new clients and existing ones. We then sent this video to all our existing and prospective clients as Direct Mailers through CDs and emailers.
In just a matter of 4 months BBDO India was invited for 12 business pitches and won 6 out of these. Though it's hard to trace the response of these clients to our video, we still feel that it created the required buzz to ask us to pitch for their business in the first place.
