The toilet cleaning category in Vietnam is under-developed. As long as the toilet is ‘spotless’, it is considered clean. Vim, a brand specifically designed to kill germs, was finding it hard to educate people about the importance of ‘germ kill’. Therefore we decided to highlight the poor public toilet sanitation in the country and set out to build 100 toilets in public schools in Vietnam in 4 weeks. We didn’t want to spend millions in media to achieve a task of building toilets that could have been done by using the media spends itself, so we used just 1 billboard.
