A special microsite designed with a nostalgic theme in mind was created for HardwareZone.com to celebrate 12 years of its inception and document a dozen years of Technological progression. The campaign provided informative insight about the company’s history and milestones, and also reviewed how technology has evolved in a way that is able to include the involvement of loyal users. Users could explore various benchmarks both of the company and technology by means of an interactive timeline. The ‘Album of Old Gadgetry’ is a virtual museum that triggered users’ participation in the celebration by submitting pictures of their oldest gadgets.
