The design not only needed to stand out on the shelf, but embody the band's own personality and vibe: a unique blend of Brazilian and Filipino music.
The task was to create a cover design for Nyco Maca + Playground's latest album.
The design was, in itself, just like the music of Nyco Maca + Playground. The coconut was a playful fusion of Brazil's number one passion, football, and a ubiquitous Filipino symbol.
The album not only attracted attention on the shelf of music stores. It also helped strengthen nyco Maca + Playground's identity as they sold their CDs. Not a small feat, considering the xosntant threat of music piracy.
