Mang Sergio walks the streets of Manila everyday, entertaining people with his trained dog, Habagat (West Wind). More than performing tricks for people, Habagat (West Wind) is a true companion to his owner, and vice versa. In fact, West Wind was instrumental in reuniting Mang Sergio with his estranged young son, Eddie Boy. This was achieved by using the contributions that people give him to send Eddie Boy back from the province, and into his father's arms. West Wind is a true story, and communicates the fact that dogs can have a profound impact on the lives of people, and that this fact should be celebrated.
