Our aim was to promote Dole Bananas as the best source of energy for sporting activities. So when Tokyo Marathon 2010 became one of the hottest topics in town, we seized the opportunity and posted surprising banana banners on sports news sites. When people scrolled to read the news, the banana suddenly stripped its skin, followed by a bunch of runners who sprint up the screen. It is a contextual and interactive banner advertisement.
