Brief Explanation

Japanese folk songs are spread all over the country as traditional performing arts. There is a folk song called 'Seicho Yasaburo-bushi' in the Tsugaru area of Aomori Prefecture, which has been sung for 200 years. In the recent years, people who could sing it had decreased and there was only one person who could: Ms. Tokiwa Mori, 95 years old. She was an energetic lady for her age, but unfortunately on March 19th, 2009, she suddenly passed away. This commercial is a record of her life, and also a memory of the 'Seicho Yasaburo-bushi', which will never be sung anymore.
