A Casino in Singapore called Resorts World was about to acquire a whale shark, an endangered species, for display in a tank. The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, wanted to raise public awareness over the issue and get people to send petition letters to policy makers to reverse their decision. We came with an outrageous way to start a petition. We invited everyone to bet on how long the whale shark would survive. This facebook application was a hard-hitting way to make the point that the casino was gambling with animals’ lives.
