Brief Explanation

The symbols of India's love for cricket were all around us, in window panes broken by a stray cricket ball from children playing in the street.We decided to use them as elements in our graphic identity.

The Brief

Our client, a cricket coaching academy in Mumbai, wanted us to create a corporate identity that captured India’s passion for cricket.

How the final design was conceived

I went around the streets of Mumbai, and shot many broken windows as I walked around the city. The simplicity of the idea, made for a clean execution with a different window on each card. thereby forming an interesting set of buiness cards, envelopes and letterhead.

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

The new identity made the Sulakshan Cricket Academy stand out amongst other cricket schools. It also resulted in a lot of smiles, nostalgic conversations and a 20% increase in inquiries in the month of October 2008.
