Brief Explanation

With so many hypermarkets blossoming in the country, there is a massive price war. In this environment, Carrefour needs to strengthen its position as the Low Price Leader.

The Brief

Carrefour has always positioned itself as a Low Price Leader with its 'Lowest Price Guaranteed' policy. The purpose of the project is to reinforce the fact that you get all the best deals here.

How the final design was conceived

To dramatize the fact every product in Carrefour is priced the lowest, we took the typical design of a supermarket price offer ad and made it even more cluttered. Packed with products, oozing with flashers. After all, with its ‘lowest prices guaranteed’ policy, every price in Carrefour is worth shouting.

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

Carrefour was able to maintain its traffic flow into their outlets despite increasing competition and was able to maintain the perception of being one of the best place to shop for bargains in the minds of the consumers.
