We created the short film "I have a beautiful heart" with a compelling plot twist that literally brings to life the plight of children suffering from heart diseases in Sri Lanka. The story-line focuses on a girl who starts walking to join a queue which begins at the hospital. The viewers are left dumbstruck when the girl has to walk miles and miles to reach the end of the queue which extends far and beyond the hospital, even on to the roads. When she finally joins the queue, the viewer realizes that this hypothetical queue represents the plight of children who have to go through a long wait to get treatment for cardiac and other critical illnesses. It taps the inner conscience of people making them realize it’s their help which can end the long wait of these children.
