A real story of a taxi driver was the inspiration behind this film. He had migrated to a distant city in search of employment opportunities due to lack of electrification in his village. Paper puppet animation technology was used in this film for the first time in India. The film opens with a young girl who is sad because she misses her father and hopes that her father who works in the city would come back and always be with her. Bajaj Electricals is personified in the form of a lit bulb that brings light into her life and reunites the girl with her father. The film showcases how Bajaj Electricals enabled rural electrification in India by getting electricity to over 25,000 villages across the country and bringing smiles on millions of faces.
