We then held CASH SCOPE, an exhibition of the microscopic world, on Internet. We emphasized the true nature of cash through beautiful images of the stuff on it.
A whole 400,000 people visited the exhibition. The video and website were featured on various media, thus increasing card applications by 13.00%. People have finally started going cashless in Japan.
We observed cash using a state-of-the-art electron microscope. There, we found thousands of stuff stuck on it.
