A dyslexic person gets confused with letters. For example, 'e' is misread as 'a' or 'd' is often read as 'b'.
Our clients at the Dyslexia Association of India felt that their current logo was outdated and called for a much-needed face lift.
We arrived at the final design by drawing upon a simple insight. Dyslexics may get confused by letters. However, they do not get confused by shapes. So we took basic shapes, clubbed them together to create a logo even a dyslexic person won't misspell.
Not only was the new logo incorporated in all of DAI's communication material across media, the new logo was also more empathetic towards dyslexics. The new logo was warmly appreciated by the clients, as well as families and members of the DAI.
