‘Kitty & Lala’ is one of four profile films promoting Intel’s new 2nd Generation Core Processor. The film illustrates the critical role technology plays in everyday visual life, through the eyes of two pioneering Chinese wedding photographers – Kitty and Lala – whose photo blog is one of the most popular in China. ‘Kitty & Lala’ also explores how the post-1980s generation in China combine respect for their traditional cultural heritage with individuality and creativity. The result is a beautifully choreographed portrait of urban China. Using time-lapse cinematography, juxtaposing split screen images of contemporary and traditional China, the film captures how technology and creativity enrich the couple’s innovative, highly personal client work, enabling them to live their visual life.
