We produced 3 viral movies drawing on different selling points for the product: “better sound (REAL SOUND),” “easier to use (WIRELESS),” and “more fun (Android).” In order to encourage people to share this information, we included a storyline about an old man who performed mischievous experiments. The twisted humour in the story grabbed Hipsters’ interest. We paid close attention to detail during staging, including to props such as intricate Rube Goldberg machines, and to overall visual quality in order to appeal to Hipsters, who appreciate highly-designed creative products.
