RoadKinGPS is a new player in a crowded marketplace of GPS brands. To stand out, we needed to move out of the traditional medium and place our ads where we could demonstrate what our GPS could do to tech-savvy drivers.
To lead people to these interesting finds, we sent emails with intriguing messages that would bring them on a journey of discovery around Google Earth.
Using Google Earth, we demonstrated how you could find anything with RoadKinGPS – like a Swastika building, a heart-shaped island or even a note from God.
Due to the experiential nature of our advertising idea, the emails we sent were eventually forwarded around, hence growing our network of recipients. As a result, enquiry rate from potential buyers jumped to 31%.
