Brief Explanation

Refresh the image of haiku, Japan's traditional poetry form, through design work. The target was people unfamiliar with haiku.

The Brief

Announce the 'Thunder Night fever!' summer haiku reading party.In particular, increase the number of young female participants who work in Tokyo, where the event was to take place.

How the final design was conceived

1. Symbolized thunder, a summer seasonal word in haiku, with a zigzag pattern for lightning. 2. Print the event title and the date on a cloud-shaped sticker. 3. By placing 1. on 2., the poster is completed. The cloud can be placed anywhere; wherever it is placed, lightening will appear.

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

The poster announcing the haiku event was featured in a number of blogs, which worked to bring in more participants. As a result, twice as many people as the capacity signed up for the event.
